How Thursan handles the personal data of visitors, prospects and customers, and how you exercise your rights.
In this Privacy Policy Thursan explains how it handles the personal data of website visitors, of people interested in its pest control products and services, insecticides and repellents, of customers and of company representatives. Here you will find which data we use, for what purposes, how it is shared with third parties and how to exercise your rights.
This policy follows Brazilian Law No. 13,709/2018 (the General Personal Data Protection Law — LGPD) and other applicable rules. Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; processing covers collection, use, storage, sharing and deletion.
1. Who is responsible for the processing
Thursan Quimica Brasil LTDA acts as the controller of the data processed through the website thursan.com.br, through its service channels (telephone, e-mail and contact form) and through its commercial relationship with customers.

We only ask for data that is compatible with each purpose. Missing a required piece of data may prevent us from replying or preparing a proposal.

These legal bases are set out in article 7 of the LGPD. Simply visiting the website or requesting a quotation is not a general authorisation for any use of your data.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser; pixels and tags record browsing events. We use the following categories:
- Necessary: essential functions, security, the contact form and the record of your privacy choice. Always active.
- Analytics: measure visits and page usage (Google Analytics) to improve the website. Only with your authorisation.
- Advertising: measure campaigns and allow ads related to previous interactions (Google Ads, Meta). Only with your authorisation.
The website's cookie notice lets you accept all, keep only the necessary ones or choose categories, and the decision can be changed at any time through the Cookie preferences link. Refusing optional cookies does not block access to the website's content. You may also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
5. Google and Meta tools
Depending on the active tools and your choices, the website may use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to measure campaign results and understand how people reach us. With remarketing, vendors such as Google may show Thursan ads on other websites using cookies from previous visits, subject to your consent choices. You control personalisation in Google Ad Settings and in the ad preferences of your Meta account. See also how Google uses information from partner sites.
6. Who we may share data with
Thursan does not sell personal data. Sharing that is necessary for the purposes of this policy may take place with website hosting and maintenance providers, e-mail and customer service providers, analytics and advertising platforms (sections 4 and 5), carriers and partners involved in performing the service, accounting and legal support, and competent authorities where required by law. Providers acting as processors handle the data under our instructions and confidentiality obligations. The use of technology vendors may involve international data transfers, in accordance with article 33 of the LGPD.
7. How long we keep the data
Request and quotation data is kept for as long as needed for the service and the negotiation; contractual and tax data, for the legal retention periods; technical logs, for as long as security requires; data processed on the basis of consent, for as long as that consent lasts. Once no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised, subject to technical and legal limits.
8. Information security
We adopt technical and administrative measures proportionate to the risks in order to protect data against improper access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No digital environment is free of risk; in the event of a relevant incident, the ANPD (the Brazilian data protection authority) and the data subjects will be notified as required by law.
